I honestly think of myself as moody
but apparently I seem very calm & even tempered to others. I do get ticked off at things - and frustrated at things that are in my way - but not so much at people. I do get bad moods - and when someone tells me to take a deep breath, I HATE it. But if they let me be for a few minutes, I will almost always get over it quickly on my own. Generally, though, I'm by myself when I have a real meltdown - and it's usually over something relatively trivial, like a computer snafu - and I will yell until I realize I'm upsetting my dog. That's usually the best way to stop my bad mood - my dog. Since when I have a bad mood, she's usually the only one around! Depression is another matter - I've struggled with that on and off throughout my life. It's usually longer-lived and harder to shake than anger, but loving care from another human is a good way to help me with depression. And, yeah - my dog helps with that, too. All animals help with that.
