Wontcha be my neighbor poll How neighborly are you with your neighbors? Hang out and have beers together? Exchange holiday pastries? Armed truce?

I have the BEST darn neighbors in the WORLD but one is dieing tonight, I know I can't see him in ICU so there is no point in going to the hospital. I do not know his partner as well as I knew/know him. The rest of the homes in this neighborhood have a rotating Monday night dinner, we are VERY diverse, Republicans, retired military, old, young, hard-core Christian and we ALL have each other's back in every situation. It really does not get any better and I am very blessed. The only thing missing in the group is a butch...the men neighbors are useless when my car will not start.

Neighbors on both sides of me are like family to my and i! The older couple on my one side are like surrogate grandparents for my and when she locked herself out of her house while he was at a phillies game, i crawled thru her basement window to unlock her house for her, now we all have keys to each others houses.

the street I grew up on was like that. I miss it.

I used to have neighbors I liked No more. Over the past 3 years some really annoying and inconsiderate people have moved into my condo complex, and my next door neighbor has gone sort of insane. I hate Berkeley anyway, and I can't wait to move. Seriously thinking of Alaska.

We wave at each other or ignore each other. Not friendly enough for beer or pastries, but we kind of watch out for each other, and bond over things like the person who lets their dog poo in all of our yards.

Don't really like my neighbors They're kind of loud and stupid and they smoke and make noise right outside my window. Like my building manager though. He's cool.

You will probably see Juneau before I do I can't move anywhere for almost 3 years. Anchorage Alaska is ing to me, though. I was brainwashed by a recuiting video from Providence Medical Center.

I'm pretty new to the building...but they seem nice enough...landlords live right upstairs, and a nice couple and a single? guy on the top floor. Meant to invite them to a BBQ in the newly renovated (by me!) garden this summer, but it didn't happen. I very close friend lives a block and a half away and we have keys to each others places and breakfast together once a week. It's nice to have a friend so close.

great neighbours - rare for toronto apartment buildings. I actually know all of the people on my floor by sight, and many on the floor below me. If I had a decent memory, I'd know them by name too. I know their dogs names though, and they know me as "Mocha and Bonus' mom". The down-the-hall neighbours just had a new baby and I brought them pie. I would never have done that in any of my previous neighbourhoods. I generally don't lock my door, unless I'm going out at night. I feel pretty safe here.

I'm friendly in a wave-and-say-Hi! kinda way with the neighbors on one side, but haven't spoken even once to the neighbors on the other side, which saddens me.

i have good neighbors was in a party/beer mode with them prior, but not so much anymore, which is mostly my fault. hopefully will change some of that this winter.

I'm friendly with most of the neighbors but really only talk regularly with two. Others are passing hellos and laundry room how ya doings.
