While the study couldn't prove that pesticides used in agriculture contribute to childhood learning problems, experts said the research is persuasive. "I would take it quite seriously," said Virginia Rauh of Columbia University, who has studied prenatal exposure to pesticides and wasn't involved in the new study. More research will be needed to confirm the tie, she said. Children may be especially prone to the health risks of pesticides because they're still growing and they may consume more pesticide residue than adults relative to their body weight.

I doubt their data can be very good because who keeps track of how much or which pesticides are on the fruit they buy? not that I'm disinclined to believe that poisons are having adverse effects on people, but come on.

I agree, methodology is prolly imperfect but they said it merits more study. For me, the hypothesis is plausible enough to avoid high pesticide foods.

well... I mean..my friend john has ADD.. and well.. um..maybe he doesn't but he's kinda agro anyways..and he never washes his apples I mean I don't think he does anyway.. so..you can see I have a pretty strong case here

cause ADD is a new disorder... think about it- pharm companies are profiting from normal human behavior.
