I feel Unwanted First time here, I'll try to make it quick. Been dating an older woman (I'm early 20's, she's late 20's) for almost a year. At first, the sex was great, and she solicited it quite frequently. The past 3-4 months, she has seemingly lost almost all interest. We still have sex (2 times/week), but I always initiate. I'm not saying I need her all over me constanly, but I would like her to initiate once in a while, not to mention have sex at least 4 times a week. I've tried talking to her before, and she just withdraws and it gets worse. So I don't know what to think/do, hence I turn to you..

So, do you anything besides screw. Sex is but a small part of a relationship.

Of course Everything else in the relationship is great, and there aren't any distractions, no , no mortgage, very little stress.

True but did you read his & her's age? 20's. At that age SEX is the be all and end all. If she is throttling it back pal you got problems. And you say you are the one who initiates it and not her anymore? You need to read signs. It appears that her interest in doing the horizontal mambo with you isn't curling her toes anymore. In my opinion you either better improve your sexual technique or start looking elsewhere to get your jollies. She is getting bored.

Peaks and valleys in the sex dept. is normal for a LTR. You're too young yet to realize this becuase you don't have the experience of other LTRs to compare. TOTALLY NORMAL!

I can understand that, but the only reason I wrote here in the first place is to figure out what to do, not to determine if it's normal or not. Because even though there are far greater potential problems, I get insecure about this, and the downward spiral begins..

If you are that insecure that you can't understand that a reduction in the number of times you have sex has probably has NOTHING to do with you and your little ego...there's nothing else I can say. Maybe you need a psychologist? Other than...maybe you should feel unwanted and insecure because she's obviously not attracted to you anymore?

probably has nothing to do with you We've been through dry spells, sometimes life is overwhelming and stress kills your urges. Try TALKING to her! You shouldn't be taking this personally unless she tells you specifiy that you're doing something wrong. You're dating an older woman, time to grow up and start learning these life lessons. Mainly, it's not all about you!

I have tried talking to her at least a few times. It never seems to get anywhere. Anyway, thanks for the advice, I'll definitely use it.
