wow thats something else my are crazy about their mother even though she is a piece of shit. sometimes I don't know how I stop from letting them know how crazy she really is. My ex has a new family, she had a baby before the divorce was final. She is the type that tells them that I am wrong since I make them do chores and take the dog out. She actually thinks its mean to make a boy take the trash out. She is living the life though I guess, I mean she lives with her boyfriend and his parents pays no rent, no child support for the boys. She has a job I guess, but always tells the boys she can't visit cause she don't have the money. She only lives about 1 hour away driving. The boys are starting to think she is full of shit (which she is, but letting them figure that out on their own)

Next time offer to make the drive and let her come up with some lame excuse. I went through the same thing not long ago. My ex would tell the that he wanted them with him all the time. They asked to go for a month in summer. (he moved away a year before that) He said he couldn't afford the airfare. I offered to pay it. He came up with a new lame excuse about paying a sitter and buying food. I offered to send money ($1500) to help with the bills while they were there. He came up with another lame excuse. My oldest eventually told the younger one to stop asking, because he just didn't want them there.

I let my son speak to that relative and to my shock I heard my son say "tell my dad it's not mom, it's my choice I don't want to talk to him right now. As I am typing I am laying down resting after having a fullblast panic attack with chest pains because of what my ex is doing to us (my fault I let it get to me in part).
