Poll: There oughta be a law: Has something crossed your path recently where you said; Hey there oughta be a law about that? I recently was installing a stereo in my vehicle and out of the four colored stereo speaker wires only three matched the speaker wires and one didn’t so I connected the two odd colors together and then I connected the matching colors of the remaining three together (seemed logical to me). I discovered that even the colors that matched didn’t go together. So IMHO there oughta be a law that if a manufacturer is going to color code wires they should have an industry standard that makes all manufacturers’ use the same color coding (otherwise why color code at all?). Why, dang them I had to read the instruction manual to match the speaker location with the correct wires. How about you?

There oughta be a law that people read the manual. No offense, its less about you and more about the idea that people should just know stuff because other people made it easy for them. But then, I like having to puzzle stuff out.

Yes, but, but, it should be pretty standard stuff, I mean it was speaker wires, why color them if they have no correlation to anything else? I am so guilty about not reading installation manuals though. Meh.

why, do they want cold days on days off? It doesn't have to be a universal law. Each nation can come up with their own.

if we had to work when the weather was "bad" we'd work most of the time. I think there should be a x day weekend every other week.

if you live in CA.... it's ed the x-x work week. and that's basiy what it is. I think it's only for large corporations, but I believe the govenator wants it to be for some smaller companies as well.

yeah but that means you work x hours instead of x. I'm talkin' keep your x hours and have additional time off. It'll save us millions in health care.
