you're missing a fact here SS funding is completely solvent. in fact, the SS fund is the third largest creditor to the US' deficit behind China and Japan.

I'm no financial expert, but from . . . what I've studied, it's only solvent NOW. It cannot, based upon all currently available information, continue to remain solvent, without drastic changes to the benefits provided.

I won't dispute that each generation is living longer...it needs changes, no doubt.
