after I came out I was surprised to find out that several people had already assumed I was gay or had noticed me checking them out. Pilot's got a point.

Yeah, no kidding. I agree When I came out to friends it was terribly anticlimactic. They all said: Of *course* you're queer. I was the last to know.

my first girlfriend came out to her two best friends when we started sleeping together. They just laughed because it was so obvious we were seeing each other.
