Mr. McDouble is such a coward Referencing an earlier post. So with my broken toe I decided to take the day off from painting, took a shower and went somewhere where it is cool. (My A/Cs are out right now because I just replaced my windows, hence the painting project). Mr. McDouble had ed earlier and left a voice mail, being nasty because I didn't answer my phone. When I got to my local watering hole, I forgot my phone in the car. When I went to retrieve it I saw he had ed again, and left another ugly voicemail, including "I guess you're at the bar". Then my daughter s and tells me he had just left my house and had gotten all his things. Can't man up and say anything to my face, just sneak over when I'm not home. Oh, and the bar reference, did he forget that's where I met his ass at? So, in keeping with his non-communication, I ed his landline and left HIM a voice mail, including what a coward he has always been, and told him he could just haul his ass back over to Cletus Dr. and go see Judy XXXXXXX. You see, I found this woman's name and number in his truck a few years ago but never said anything. But I did reverse lookup the number at that time, got her name and her address, just for future reference. Just so happens I ran across that scrap of paper yesterday. Oops I bet ya thought that I didn't know..... Would love to have seen the look on his face when he played his message.

Probably a good thing to put an end to that relationship for everybody concerned.

Nah, ya can't make this shit up. But it was so amusing to picture him standing there replaying that message over and over. You see, in a few days I will get his customary 10 page letter detailing everything he can't stand about me and my family. The funny thing is, he spends so much time writing all that shit down, and I don't even read it. I read the first one years ago, but all the rest I just burn without reading because I know his only point is to piss me off. And he is so cheap he writes these retarded letters on the back of recycled whatever he has at the time, and the first few he would just stick in my mailbox. Until I reminded him that it is a federal offense to not use a stamp, and he was so afraid I would turn him in (get real) that he actually mailed the next couple of letters. I like to picture him spending hours just pouring his little heart in to his vile letter, agonizing over just how to slam me....and then I don't even read it.

No, we are not going to continue this relationship. He came by today. and got some things of his that were outside while I was not home (his usual MO.) I think he is just as done with me as I am him. I have made a conscious decision to try and not be bitter and angry, to not dwell on all the bad but try to remember the good times that we did have. I have a lot of other things going on in my life right now, so that will keep me busy. I hope i remember this tomorrow.

Nope, nothing can be placed in a mail box without going through the postal service. Years ago a boy scout troop got in all kinds of trouble for putting fliers in mailboxes. I think they had to pay the post office, seriously.

I'd have to see some backup on that. I'm sure that you cannot put things in mail boxes that can injure the postal worker, but fliers? Unless it is provided for by the U.S. Postal service, how can they dictate what you do or allow to be done with it. Are we talking mail box at the post office, or in front of your house?
