Lesbians More Obese Than Straight Women Is it stress from discrimination or is it acceptance of the female tendency to gain weight?

It's Part of A New Wave of GL Studies It's not a generalization. OMG! How can you not see the numerous differences between lesbians and straight womens?

but, how can it possibly take into all accounts of such a subjective thing? Not all women are out. So, it stands to reason that the women who are "out" and are vocal enough about it to participate, probably don't care a whole lot about societies view of them, and probably don't think a whole lot about what weight society says they should be. Just a thought, anyway
