I always think that people who speak like that either like to hear themselves talk or want to make it sound like they actually know (or give a shit) what they are talking about. Or, they want to sound like this intellectual professiona. The one I'm thinking of...she can't pull that fast one on me tho. She doesn't like that I put things in simple terms and, in fact, have been told to not make it simplistic as it doesn't look good to the outside world. When she said that, I looked at the window and looked at her and smiled. Clear and concise is MUCH more compelling, but it's weird how they don't see that.
