bi and not finding aceptence when i tell other gay ppl i am bi the have alot of negative things to say and jokes ... i accept that they like the same gender why dont they accept that i liek both ......

I've heard other people say this but have never, ever experienced it. I have a long theory about it but am too lazy to write it out. Am convinced that 99 percent of the time it has more to do with non-monogamy, or the fear of non-monogamy, than with bisexuality per se. Because I think the topic of being bi tends to come out only in a context where someone's looking for a date/mate. Also the word "bisexual" has become so emotionally loaded, I dislike and never use it. I ID as queer or pansexual or (my favorite) ambisextrous. If someone is freaky about bisexuality and you're bi, don't date them. Everyone is then happy.

because.. they are just like most heterosexual people, they are afraid of accepting it, because their mindset is programmed to one gender. dont worry about what they have to say. its your choice, not theirs. & in reality, they really can't say anything.

That's too bad There are accepting people out there, I hope you can find some. Check out pansexual support groups in your area. Maybe even a BDSM support group. They tend to be a little more open. Heck, go to a Science Fiction convention, they like everybody! I think it's something a lot of people just don't understand, because they can't feel it. It's like trying to explain being kinky to a vanilla person. They just don't get it, and it scares them. Some people are more comfortable thinking that bisexual people are simply "going through a phase". Yeah, a 49 year long one for me so far.
