ANy good decorators here? need some advice im trying to figure out what kind of dining table i should get and where it should be placed. i would appreciate any suggestions. Right now im leaning towards a square or circular table in between the couch and desk - or i could shift the book case and couch to the left and put the table in the corber near the door to the patio thank you Free Music

The desk location is the issue

im fine with it i needed a decent size work space- no other place for the desk really

I don't know what is behind the TV if you can flip the TV and the sofa and push the desk closer to the TV, the table fits where it needs to be.

Slide the desk closer to the couch. Add a dinner table where the desk used to be, away from the wall a bit.

What about just using the built in bar?

its not that kinda bar isnt designed for eating- it doesnt have an elevated edge and there is very little space

How big of table do you need/want?

How do you get to the bathroom?

I'm not a decorator, but I think I have a pretty good eye...I just decorated my new place. I would put a circular between the desk and the kitchen, a little more towards the kichen.

hmm- would be a tight squeeze

Personally, I would move the couch 90 degrees so as to make a mini room...but it looks a little cheesy that way.

would also have to move the TV and it would be tough cause of the wiring and i dont want it right near the window

you should place the table next to the kitchen, instead of your desk and move the desk to the other side of the room since that space is narrow, i suggest this table (but not the chairs) you can also hang a large mirror on the wall to give the illusion of more space

cant move the desk just mounted shelving over the wall- desk wouldnt fit anywhere else- i thought this over quite a bit

of course you can simply unmount and place at the other side of the room
