opinion: a friend of mine went on a first date with a gal who questioned why he left his cell phone in his car while on the date. He asked me if the reason he gave her (the truth which was he wanted to give her his undivided attention) seemed "believable". I said it was the first date and I thought it was inappropriate that she asked the question. He thought it was a reasonable question. What do you think? And would you ever date a person with obvious insecurities and trust issues? I would not.

I think the question is ok, and his answer is believable.
