Evil Wife
I recently began to suspect my husband of cheating. Among other things, his computer habits changed, and he became very withdrawn in the bedroom. I noticed he was spending a lot of time on . So I did a little experiment and using a fake e-mail address, posted an ad for one of his favorite fantasies. It worked like fly tape. He answered the ad within 30 minutes. Initially, my plan was to scare the hell out of him and send him to his boss’s house or to a church. I didn’t want to show up and catch him myself, just scare him silly enough to think twice about cheating. Anyhow, I chickened out, and as my alter-ego, I cancelled our “date”. That was last week. I meant to cut it off there, but we started exchanging racy e-mails that were very hot. So every day, he thinks he’s getting all revved up by some other woman, and then coming home and having wonderfully passionate sex with me. It’s hilarious, because he keeps telling me that his wife would NEVER do or say the kinds of things we’re talking about. So that stuff may still be considered innocent to some, but it gets worse. The last few days he’s been telling alter-ego me (via IM and e-mail) about his marital problems, work issues, etc. Today my alter ego helped him draft a business plan that won him major kudos at work. He wishes that his wife were smart enough to understand these things, had my knack for business, and was as clever, witty, and well-written as I am. Too funny. I am *so* underappreciated, I tell ya… I know! I’m crazy! I’m evil! He wants to meet up, and I want to back out of the situation, but it’s like one of those bad train wrecks happening in slow motion that you can’t stop gawking at. Now I don’t know WHAT to do with all this newfound information. I do know this: he’s not the kind of good sport who would have a laugh at his own expense and view it as a practical joke or a learning experience if I enlightened him to the truth about his new lady friend now. Help.
